பொதுவாக 60 வயதை தாண்டி விட்டாலே, இன்சூரன்ஸ் நிறுவனங்கள் மருத்துவக் காப்பீடு வழங்குவதற்கு மறுத்துவிடுவார்கள் அல்லது அதற்க்கான பிரீமியம் தொகையினை மிக அதிகமாக வைத்து விடுவார்கள். அப்படி செய்கையில், 60/70 வயதிற்கு மேற்பட்டவர்களுக்கு மருத்துவச் செலவுகள் வந்தால், அது, அவர்களது/அவர்களுடைய பிள்ளைகளுடைய சேமிப்பினை வெகுவாக கரைத்துவிடும் வல்லமை கொண்டது. மேற்சொன்ன 70 வயதிற்கு மேற்பட்டவர்களுக்கு, தற்போது ஒன்றிய அரசு சார்பினில், Ayushman Bharat ன் Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) திட்டத்தின் கீழ், ₹5,00,000 க்கான மருத்துவக் காப்பீடு இலவசமாக வழங்கப் படுகிறது. இதில் சேருவதற்கு 70 வயது ஆகியிருந்தாலே போதுமானது. இதற்க்காக வேறெந்த eligibility criteria வும் கிடையாது. உங்களது வருமானம், social status, வேறெந்த அரசின்/தனியாரின் திட்டங்கள் (private health insurance policies or Employees’ State Insurance scheme,) மூலம் மருத்துவக் காப்பீடு பெற்றிருந்தாலும், இதில் நீங்கள் சேர்ந்து கொள்ளலாம். உங்களது குடும்பல் ஏற்கனவே Ayushman Bharat திட்டத்தின் கீழ் காப்பீடு பெற்...
